Know A Little Bit About The Juicing And The Juicing History

Did you know that juicing has given us quite a significant history back then? Actually, juices were considered as a medicinal practice. Juicing can also date back to the ancient times when people juice vegetables and herbs for medicine. They either have it consumed by the patient or use as an ointment. The herb juices possess mint and other nutrients; I can call these leafy juices today as ‘liquified tablets’. Now, leaf juicing is still applied for organic eating. In the Indian medicine tradition Ayuverda, there is the term called “ras” which means “life” and “juice”. It is a reference to human energy’s ability to have “full of juice” to gain the ideal health. The Ayuverdic diet involves the svarash which is made of pressed fruit, vegetables and herbs. The Dead Sea scrolls depict that juice was for healing purposes only. Consumed by Jews who are in the old age were known as vegetarians, juices were strictly for their diet only. In ancient India, The leafy juices were more famous than fruit juices back then. Ancient people would rather eat fruit raw. It was just that time when people from tropical islands make the fruit juices.

However in 1920, Dr. Norman Walker’s studies about the benefits of fruits and vegetables led to the invention of the juicer. The Norman juicers were made; these are large hydraulic press that can simultaneously press a lot and produce a lot of natural juices in a short period of time. His juicing efforts has put at least one juicing machine in every household in the world.

Now, the machine has evolved from the manual one up to the most automated juicing possible. It became an electric juicer so currently the juicing is easy. You just need to peel off the skin of the fruit, vegetable or herb and make cuts that will fit into the mouth of the juicer. When fed into the machine, the blades inside it will totally hash every bit of the fruit, vegetable or herb, producing a refined juice. You can still produce a pulpy juice by using the mode puree in which the blades’ mincing is lowered to retain bits of pulp. The puree mode is useful for fruit juicer in which every pulp explodes of more vitamins and minerals than the juice.
So there you have your juicing history! I suggest you read more about other juicing methods practice in the past by searching the net, and then you can start your juicing with enough knowledge on how juicing works!

Make Your Panini Sandwich The Best Dessert Ever

Panini is always used as a main course. It is filled with meat, cheese and other garnishes, pressed in a panini grill and served with garlic-rubbed grilled stripes and the dripping melted cheese. This is perfect for those main course snacks… But did you know that you can also serve Panini as a dessert?

Yes, you can put sweet fillings in your Panini and serve it after the main course. You can rub sugar or just sprinkle cinnamon sugar on your bread. The sweet taste of the bread and the filling will definitely bring your taste buds to a never-ending adventure to candy land; a great way to finish your meal.

Below are some dessert recipes that you could apply on your Panini:

       Ice cream Sandwich
Why not do the same thing on your Panini? Stuff in two spreads of ice cream on both bread slices (it can be one to two flavors) and press with panini grill. It is probably better if you press the sides to lock the ice cream to avoid leaks and ice cream getting thawed easily. The hot and cold dessert dish will be a sure hit to the kids. The bread slices are warm but when one bite is taken off from it, an explosion of milky and creamy ice cream syrup will emerge.

       Peanut Butter and Jam Sandwich
This “house regular” sandwich will not be a regular no more! Do the same with the Panini grill. With the sealed bread base, the peanut butter and jam will surely be cooked enough to give that rich nutty aroma and fruity taste. And the peanut butter and jam are not dripping, so you can enjoy a full-packed sandwich.

      Hazelnut Sandwich
This is probably my all-time favorite. I am a big fan of Nuttela and I love eating it without using it as a spread. You can fill it in your bread and press it on your Panini grill. The chocolate-y taste will compete with the ice cream sandwich. You can also make it as a jam on your peanut butter and jam Panini.

           Cake
You can treat your Panini as a cake. Make one of the below dessert recipes and top it with icing and chocolate syrup. You can also include marshmallows and chocolate kisses in the filling to provide more cake-y experience. If you are making a hazelnut sandwich, make sure that you heat the spread first before putting it on the bread.

Make Different Types of Bread With A Bread Machine

The usual commercial bread everybody knows is the famous white bread. But you can make different types of breads from a bread machine, such as whole-wheat bread and fiber bread. The procedures for these breads are all the same. Make dough, bake and heat, there you have you bread. It is just that the various ingredients are different.

To make white bread, you should prepare the bucket and the propeller of the bread machine. Make sure that they have been cleaned off dirt and they are germ-free. Sanitize them thoroughly with washing liquid and ensure that there is no washing liquid resin left when rinsed with water.

Water or milk is needed for the yeast. Set the bread machine’s mode to white bread. Add and mix them after you put the main ingredients in the machine.

The machine will automatically stop running after the dough is formed. Wait for it to rise before you remove the dough. Shape the bread and bake it. You can remove the bread, cooled and finally be stored after it is cooked.

When making wheat bread, it is also wise to use the bread machine. It is just same as making white bread. All you need to do is have all the right ingredients and confirm that are measured for the baking. Same procedure, the water goes to the bread machine bucket, the wheat flour, the yeast and the other ingredients as well. Turn on the machine and set the timer.

Remove the formed dough from the machine and bake it. While cooking, it is good to know how the dough is being baked by taking a look at it in the bread machine. It is because you have to know how the ingredients are being mixed. By this, you shall know how you could perfect the wheat bread by putting the ingredients in order for mixing.

When the bread is ready, remove, cool and store it. Recommendable though, you should put the mixer overnight in the fridge to gain rich flavor and aroma.
You should also divide the dough. That way, you will be able to save some dough from being consumed.

For high-fiber bread, you should replace your regular flour with a fiber-rich one. You can find powdered fiber from supermarkets and bread shop.

Have your main ingredients measured and prepare them for baking.
You shall have done mixing your regular flour with the powdered fiber before you add them into the bread machine. Wait for it to rise, remove the dough and proceed to baking. Store it after.
